Overview

THE ISSUE

The rapidly growing cleantech company in the solar sector had outgrown its startup brand identity and was seeking a major refresh to the branding and myriad brand assets.

OUR APPROACH

We began with a competitive audit to understand the industry’s landscape in regard to brand messaging, tone, and visual identity. Then a comprehensive brand audit was conducted to determine what sales and marketing tools existed in the field today. Interviews were conducted to understand all stakeholders’ expectations and how each team utilized the brand assets today.

WHAT WE DID

Within’s Adam Smith has worked with the Powur team for over 18 months ongoing to continue to develop increasingly sophisticated brand solutions for Powur. A few highlights include app UI & UX design and oversight, overseeing countless video projects,  and the design of Powur’s first annual impact report.

Annual Impact Report

We designed Powur’s annual report for print and digital use. The report details the company’s social and environmental impact using powerful stats, infographics and visuals.

Website UI/UX

We designed several websites and landing pages, including the microsites for Powur World, the company’s annual national conventions.

Rooftop Solar Explainer Video

We developed a B2C explainer video to help address any misconceptions or concerns prospective customers may have about the process and value of rooftop solar.

Project Outcome

Brand Awareness

The Powur community includes over 5,000 sellers, hundreds of installation companies, partners, and associates. The rebrand helped Powur to establish a more cohesive and admired brand in the industry. The rebranded assets empowered the community with sales and marketing assets that improved the professionalism and sophistication of the product and services offered.

Brand Scalability

With the new rebrand, extensive brand guidelines, and the UI design system, the company is armed with every parameter and specification needed to develop any creative brand asset possible. This framework allows the company to scale exponentially and not lose their brand and visual identity cohesion at any point.
